Snazzy Moms

As you can see from my posts – I didn’t get away much this summer. Now, with Labor Day past – I WILL plan a weekend escape in the fall. Skipping the details (babysitter, budget, husband, job) – I am doing this. As a kid in Michigan this was loads of fun and sometimes a bit chilly.

Flying is out of the question – so Colorado Fall Foliage and Colorado Rockies Fall colors trips are out. I can visit friends in DC and catch some Maryland Fall Foliage, if I can get there in October. My dream is Vermont Fall Foliage but that may be out of budget. I have heard that the Fall Foliage around Boston has the New England charm without the Vermont crowds. And I have family in Boston to boot.

Stay tuned – most likely I will stay close to New York City and maybe a bit upstate New York or to see the Catskills Fall Foliage.
